Yesterday we flew Fuerteventura with a layover in Las Palmas. The flight and waiting time was very enjoyable because of the presence of friends. Once we arrived to Fuerteventura we met Miguel who is our guide and who drove us around and showed us our new home and introduced us to the other exchange students who will be housing with us.
Jani and I are housing in the lower apartment
with two other exchange students Marianne and Saija. Whereas Jonde was put into the
upper apartment with the other exchange students. We became acquainted to our
new housemates and got ourselves organized and settled in.
The next
day we went buying some food and supplies, then went with Miguel to see the
city in the daylight and he brought us to see Jonna and Santeri’s new work
place and they familiarized themselves with the staff and the new work
environment where they will start working.
We walked around seeing many beaches, possible
free time activities and places to hang out. We (Jonde, Jani and I) hung out
with Jonna and Santeri in the evening.
